I want your child to know that when they come into the playroom they can show up just the way they are no matter how messy. That despite whatever challenges they might be going through they won’t be judged or asked to leave. My goal is to create a space where your child feels safe, seen and cared for because it is only in this feeling of safety that children will be able to connect to themselves and learn new ways of navigating the world.

Our 2 boys have seen Amy for a year. In that time she has always been warm and welcoming. She makes them feel special by remembering specific things about them, like their special stuffies names. Amy always meets them where they are at for each session and even laid on the floor and told stories with one of my sons when that was what he requested. The playroom is a child's dream come true; safe, comfortable and full of anything they could imagine playing with. I would recommend Amy to my friends if their children needed support.
Working with Amy has been a wonderful experience for myself and my daughter, Over the past year I watched my daughter transform into a confident and self aware child who is much more independant and has the ability to regulate her emotions on her own. As a parent I felt informed and was able to walk alongside my daughter in her journey. The playroom became a really special and safe space for her, we look forward to taking the skills we have learned and continue watching her flourish.
Play therapy allows me to support children in an authentic and meaningful way. Through play children are able to communicate their struggles and express their feelings in a way that feels natural and safe.
